    Camp-mak-a-dream Time
Some of you have asked if the camp-mak-a- dream benefit is still going to happen after one of its promoters , Mark Henckel, passed away. Yes, the Camp-mak-a-dream walleye benefit is still going to happen.

Mark believed in it and would want that to continue. Peggy Lawver and Carol Henckel will be putting it on. You can sign up at our site cmadbenefit@bigskyoutdoors.net or call Peggy at 406-855-8432.

Held on August 14, 2010 from 7 p.m. -3 p.m. it is a family friendly tournament and promotes family and friend good times. You may have as many fishermen as is legal in your boat so we see grandfathers with grandchildren, husbands and wives, siblings and best friends throwing in a line together. One hundred per cent of the $60 entry fee is given back. Fifty dollars goes to camp-mak-a-dream and ten dollars of every entry goes to Canyon Ferry habitat promotion.

A barbecue is held at Silos campground at Canyon Ferry on Friday night with a rules meeting. There are prizes for the kids, prizes for ladies, raffles, and four money place prizes. This is a 100 boat tournament with a low key fun approach. Walleyes Forever and Pikemasters donate the funds to maintain this benefit and we thank them for their help. We will also need hands to help set up, take down and measure those big winners you all catch. You can still fish the benefit and help. Hope to see you there.
