2007 Scheels-Walleyes Forever
Kids Fishing Jamboree
at Riverfront Park
Scheels and Walleyes Forever were the major sponsors for the 2007 Kids Fishing Jamboree at Lake Josephine in Riverfront Park on June 16, 2007.
Ramrodded by Bill Clagg, there was plenty of help from Billings Kiwanis, Magic City Fly Fishers and Montana PikeMasters members manned the fryer for burgers, hot dogs and chips with pop provided by Coca Cola. The Billings Parks and Recreation Department, which manages Riverfront Park, was also a co-sponsor of the event.
Sunfish were the highlight of the day and if the fish caught weren't so big, the smiles on the faces of kids and their parents and grandparents were big enough to more than make up for it.
