Walleyes Forever

2008 Fort Peck
Walleye Spawn Diary

Heath Headley, fisheries biologist for Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks at Fort Peck, is sending us a daily diary of the 2008 Fort Peck Walleye Spawn to keep us up to date on how the egg-take is coming along. This annual egg-take provides all the walleye fingerlings and fry that are stocked in the waters of Montana from the the new Fort Peck Fish Hatchery and the Miles City Fish Hatchery.
