BIG DRY ARM, Fort Peck Reservoir -- Today was another enjoyable day to be out on the lake. It doesn't look like we will be seeing many of these in the near future so we enjoyed it while we had the chance.

Water temperatures in the shallower areas were able to warm up to around 50 degrees but some of the main lake temperatures are still around 42 degrees.

It is good to see that we are still capturing a lot of males in our trap nets with one containing 37. Today we were only able to collect nine ripe and 18 green female walleye but did collect a variety of big fish.

We captured a 24 pound northern pike, a 12 pound walleye, and even a 5 pound smallmouth bass.

Here is a photo of the trap net boat transferring fish to the transport boat.
