ice fishing day at Petrolia
Walleyes Forever held its first family ice fishing fun day at Petrolia Reservoir on Jan. 28. It was a bit windy, a bit cold, but there was plenty of sun and members had a lot of fun despite the slippery footing.
How windy was it? The kids had bucket/chair races using the wind to propel them across the ice. It was that windy.
The club brought the burgers and buns and the families brought pot luck for the rest of the meal. No trophies were caught. But it was a good start on what we hope will be many more family fun days in the year to come.
