Walleyes Forever

Ah, the power of prayer. A Nipawin, Sask., Catholic priest, Father Mariusz Zajak, was fishing and praying in his ice house on Tobin Lake when he got a nibble. The nibble turned out to be a 36.5-inch-long, 22.5-inch-girth, 18.3-pound walleye that set a new provincial record for Saskatchewan. You can read all about the Jan. 4 catch in the Nipawin Journal by clicking on: record walleye.
