Walleyes Forever |
![]() Mike Hepper, a retired Richland, Wash., high school teacher, caught the new Washington state record walleye on Monday out of the pool above McNary Dam on the Columbia River. The big walleye weighed an official 19.3 pounds and was 34.1 inches long and was 22.2 inches in girth. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife provided the photo. Hepper moved to Washington from North Dakota in 1965 and apparently took some great walleye fishing skills with him. Copyright, 2006 ![]() BigSkyOutdoors.Net |
