Originally being from Michigan and having fished walleye there and in Canada, I was excited when walleye started being caught in Canyon Ferry. This would allow me more fishing than my one or two annual trips to Fort Peck or elsewhere. My problem was I could not find good walleye tackle locally and the shipping and handling added to catalog prices made it too costly. So, I started making my own jigs, spinners, sinkers, bottom bouncers etc.
Today my jigs come in a variety of sizes ( 1/32 - 2 ounce), colors, styles and are heat treated for a durable finish. I have over 25,000 on hand. Aside from my spinners (worm and leech rigs), I have one of the largest supplies of components in Montana for those who want to make their own.
We carry a variety of brand name rods, reels, line, lures, hooks, bobbers, sinkers, ice fishing supplies and much more. Sorry, but we do not have a catalog so you just have to drop by and check out our products and prices. We are located 1/4 mile north of I-90, at the Three Forks exit 278 on Old Town Road. Just follow the signs.
If we are home we are open! Otherwise the hours are 8 AM to 6 PM Thursday through Monday - unless you call ahead (406) 285-4540. Tuesday and Wednesday I try to get up to Canyon Ferry for a little fishing myself - depending on weather conditions. Hope to see you soon! -- Rich
