The Broadwater Rod & Gun Club held another successful Walleye Tournament on Saturday, July 19. We increased the number of teams from 60 to 75 and sold out.Here are the results:

There were 120 walleye caught for 171.2 pounds. Five carp were brought in. There were 26 youth, 17 and under, in this year's tournament. The Townsend Area Chamber of Commerce/Canyon Ferry Walleye Festival donated hats and t-shirts. An Aqua-Vu underwater camera was raffled and 100% of the proceeds were distributed among those youth. The State Bank of Townsend is the major sponsor and generously donated $500 which was used toward prize money.BRGC would like to sincerely thank all who helped make this year's tournament a success. -- Doug
