The Broadwater Rod & Gun Club held another successful Walleye Tournament on Saturday, July 19. Five carp were brought in. There were 26 youth, 17 and under, in this year's tournament. The Townsend Area Chamber of Commerce/Canyon Ferry Walleye Festival donated hats and t-shirts. An Aqua-Vu underwater camera was raffled and 100% of the proceeds were distributed among those youth. The State Bank of Townsend is the major sponsor and generously donated $500 which was used toward prize money.BRGC would like to sincerely thank all who helped make this year's tournament a success. -- Doug |
